Homework
Homework is usually given to every pupil during the week. The children may not receive homework every night.
The reasons for homework are:
1. To reinforce work undertaken in the class.
2. To encourage the child to work independently and
3. To inculcate study habits in the children
No homework is given at weekends. Homework for Classes 1 - 2 should take a half-hour, and three-quarters of an hour in Rang 3 - 4. Homework is corrected the next day. Written homework is corrected regularly.
Homework for 5 and 6 classes should take no longer than one hour. If it happens that a child fails to complete his/her homework within the specified time limits, the teacher will accept an explanatory note, signed by the parent the next day.
