How the Children Dress for School
- Each pupil from First Class on wears the school uniform every day except on those days when the class has a physical education lesson or swimming lesson. The school tracksuit is worn on those days.
- The school uniform: Girls: Skirt or pinafore in school colours or navy trousers, navy socks / tights, navy jumper, white blouse and tie. Boys: Navy trousers, Navy jumper, white shirt and tie. The school tracksuit is green and worn with a yellow t-shirt.
- From September 1 2005 only navy socks / tights may be worn by girls with the uniform. We recommend ‘proper’ school shoes (not runners)with the uniform but this is not a rule
- Chains, necklaces and bracelets are not allowed.
- One earring in each ear (stud type) is allowed. Anything which could be dangerous is not allowed. No facial jewellery (Tongue or face included) is allowed. No pupil may wear caps in class. Bandanas are not allowed.
- Any pupil who has long hair must wear it tied back.
- Sanctions will continue to be imposed on children who regularly break this code. Records will be kept of children who aren’t properly dressed.
